Thanksgiving Sunday 2019

As always, our church sanctuary looked gorgeous on Sunday, October 13, thanks to the work of our Altar Guild. About a half dozen ladies laboured through the prior Saturday morning, adding gourds of many colours and shapes, pumpkins, sheaves of grain, and other harvest-related props.

We also had a visit from Bishop Victoria, past Bishops of the Diocese of Edmonton and Christchurch, New Zealand. BV led us in worship, blessed and commissioned our hospital and home visiting team, blessed our new “Tree of Life” memorial picture, and presented an outstanding sermon on the subject of thanksgiving. Don’t forget to respond, “grateful,” the next time someone asks you, “How are you?”

Thanks to Judy Kesanko for the pics.
