Friends @ 4 is a special gathering that we host on the last Saturday of each month. It's a very informal, fun, and relaxed way of being "church", and is especially geared towards kids, although grown-ups who come invariably say they've had a great time, too! We gather in the hall at around 4:00, and get to know one another over snacks and coffee. Then we "play" together through crafts and acitivities that illustrate a Biblical theme or story. After that, we continue to learn a more about the story through drama and song. And then.....we have a big meal together! We wrap up at 6:30pm.

Friends @ 4 might be for you if you are.....

• thinking about exploring what Christian community is like, but aren't interested or ready to check out a Sunday morning service

• want to spend time with your family and learn about Jesus together

• busy on Sunday mornings

• you've had some weird or less than positive experiences with church, but are still interested in getting to know Jesus

We're interested in "being" church through weloming people to know God's love through play and relationship. So, to that end, we hang out together, create beautiful and funky peices of art to take home or to give away, and chomp down on delicious homemade food.

You are so welcome to come and check out what Friends @ 4 is and to see whether it feeds your spirit and warms your heart. We think that it will. In the meantime, our next gathering is November 21, as the Christmas Soup Lunch and Bazaar will be on the last Saturday of this month.
