St. Augustine’s~Parkland :: Something for everyone ...

There are a number of different services offered at, or through, St. Augustines-Parkland.

On Sundays we gather as a family at 10:00am for a celebration of the Eucharist. This service is a traditional liturgy from the Book of Alternative Services (BAS). The children and youth are involved in their own Sunday programs but join us at the Peace so that we can all be together for the Eucharist.

During each season we hold a service when we have more intergenerational worship and the children join us for the whole of the service. We have a varied musical repertoire including traditional and contemporary hymns and songs.

On Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm we also gather for Eucharist but this service is a quiet, meditative, spoken service, also from the BAS. A Bible Study is offered after the service and everyone is welcome.

On the fourth Sunday of the month we offer Evening Prayer in the style of Taize. This service runs from 7:00pm - 8:00pm. It is a very quiet service with simple sung chants, a Bible reading, prayers and silent meditation. The church is very calm and lit only by candles.
